We are now looking for a passionate and creative pastry chef to join our team of 5 in the pastry department. The right candidate will have exceptional baking skills as well as a deep understanding of flavor combinations, textures and presentation. Our large Banquet department reflects the volumes and quality we are looking for, while our Brasserie requires a high degree of combinations, technology as well as taste and creativity.
Areas of responsibility:
- Plan and implement menus for desserts and pastries.
- Develop new recipes and concepts with a focus on innovation and quality.
- Further development of the pastry team.
- Ensure that all baked goods meet our high standards for taste, appearance and texture.
- Oversee inventory management and order processing to ensure access to fresh ingredients.
- Comply with food safety regulations and ensure a clean working environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience from previous work as a pastry chef or similar position.
- Education in cooking or patisserie is beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques as well as principles in confectionery.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while handling multiple tasks at the same time.
- Creativity with an eye for detail.
- Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills.
