Lead frontend developer (B2B SaaS)

Kobbr has been through an amazing startup journey over the last year. The idea behind Kobbr was born in the Antler accelerator in late 2022 and has grown to more than 50 paying craftsmen companies today. 

With new challenges ahead we're looking for our new frontend champion to lead the user interface changes necessary to transform the industry.

Up to this point we've been using a no-code plattform called Bubble.io to build Kobbr, but now we want to take full control and build using code with the help of your magic hand.

The frontend technology stack isn't set at this point, and you will be the one leading the way. Perhaps it's React, Svelte, Web Components or something completely different. We're excited to see where you will take us!

Our application is a quote creation tool for craftsmen where they can add and manage different resources used in a quote, such as material and prices, labor hours, templates, etc. 

In addition we have an end customer facing website where the quote is presented with alternatives such as chat and the opportunity to accept the quote. In the future we will tap into exciting features such as payment, data and analytics, AI and so forth. Just think of the possibilities!

• At least 3 years of frontend experience

• Living in the Oslo area

• A passion for creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.

• Eagerness to work in a early stage startup with a lot of responsibility

• Passion for taking the lead to create the next generation tools for craftsmen

• A desire to work in a startup where you'll have a massive impact 

• Experience as a frontend developer, perhaps you've been the lead on projects earlier where you've followed the project from idea stage to a live stable version

• A keen eye for UX and design so you can help shape the user interface/experience and not just be a "code monkey" (no offence to monkeys, they are adorable!)

• The drive to dive into our domain. The better you understand our customers and their end customers, the more lovable our product will be

• Perhaps dabbled with - or see the possibilities - with technologies like Websockets, push notifications or similar, and how it can be utilized to create a snappy and interactive experience 

• Ownership in Kobbr

We are an ambitious team with complementary backgrounds. We have backing from world class investors such as Antler and StartupLab. 

Norway has been a great place to begin our journey, but we have bigger ambition. Our goal this year is to scale Kobbr to other countries and tap into the biggest markets in Europe.
