About the position

NHH in Bergen, Norway, invites applications to a full-time, four-year assistant professor position at the Department of Strategy and Management. The position is linked to the marketing faculty group at the Department, which conducts research and teaching within areas such as consumer behavior, marketing analytics and marketing management in both consumer and business markets.

You will be part of a strong and supportive team of researchers dedicated to producing research with an international outreach in high-ranked publication outlets. The position involves teaching on average one course per year and possibly some graduate supervision.

Employment requires a Ph.D. in business administration or adjacent fields. We encourage candidates with a background in marketing, social psychology, analytics and/or innovation to apply. Candidates should have completed a doctoral degree from a well-recognised Ph.D. programme and can document a strong publication pipeline. Experience in teaching is a strength, but not a requirement, as NHH offers pedagogical training to prepare faculty for an all-round career in academia. The appointee must take one basic module of the programme for university pedagogy during the fixed-term period.

NHH offers

The salary will be negotiable within the Norwegian State Salary Scale for assistant professors.
