At Nordisk Aviation Products, we are currently undergoing a process of enhancement and change, necessitating the expertise of a hands-on Production Planner.

The purpose of the position is to maintain optimal and efficient planning of production at all times, so that our deliveries remain predictable and reliable, aligned with the high-quality aviation standards.

Responsibilities:

• Improve production planning by creating short-term and long-term plans based on customer requirements, resources, and capacity
• Ensure efficient upstream operations for timely deliveries by managing material availability and production capacity
• Manage scheduling parameters in our ERP system and prioritize production orders, including urgent ones
• Adapt production processes to meet technical specifications and quality standards promptly
• Identify and implement production flow improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times
• Develop forecasts for demand and manage supplier relationships for timely material delivery
• Ensure product quality through rigorous inspection and quality control processes
• Coordinate staffing to meet production requirements and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide regular updates on production, delivery, and inventory performance, and maintain planning documentation

Desired qualifications:

• Bachelor or master degree in engineering, logistics, supply chain management, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in production planning, or similar with proven results
• Good understanding of upstream production processes
• Practical approach and mindset
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks 
• Strong analytical skills, technical skillset and ability to solve practical and complex priorities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Good Norwegian and English skills, oral and written
