We seek to hire a maternity leave substitute for the Head of Marketing/Senior Marketing Manager position. The position will be an essential resource for our further growth and will play a significant part in the development of our company. The role is based in Oslo, Norway. The candidate will work closely with the CEO and other department managers.

This position offers a temporary contract as a substitute for maternity leave. This will be for about 12 - 16 months of maternity leave coverage, starting from March/April 2024. While the current position is a temporary contract for a maternity leave substitute, it may be extended to a permanent job based on performance and availability of positions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.

  • Lead a small marketing team of 2-3 individuals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve team goals and objectives.

  • Wearing multiple marketing hats to cover all areas needed to succeed and reach goals (Website Management, CRM system, Google Ads, SEO, campaigns, partnerships, and collaborations).

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, including product development, sales, and operations, to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall company objectives.

  • Oversee the creation and implementation of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and events.

  • Manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources efficiently to maximize ROI and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Track, measure, and analyze marketing campaign performance and effectiveness using relevant analytics tools and metrics, and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing initiatives.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing, and incorporate innovative ideas and approaches into marketing strategies.

 

We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience in marketing roles, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns.

  • Experience in various marketing skills (Website Management, CRM system, Google Ads, SEO, campaigns, partnerships, and collaborations)

  • Experience in a leadership or management role, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.

  • Experience in bringing physical products to a market.

  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable marketing initiatives.

  • Fluency in English (Norwegian is not required)

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in marketing software, CRM systems (Hubspot), and analytics platforms.

  • Creative thinking, a passion for innovation, and a drive to continuously learn and improve.

  • Experience in the coffee industry is a plus.
