A hotel in Western Norway, not far from Bergen (~200 km), is looking for a chef


There is a lot of activity from breakfast to dinner: breakfast service, lunch, dinner, buffets, banquets, and events. Versatility and flexibility are therefore important.


The hotel has over 200 rooms, a conference capacity for up to 1,000 people, restaurants and a bar.


Bar & Restaurant is ideal for a tasty bite to eat or a drink. In the gastro pub, they serve tasty burgers, veggie options and classic steak dishes.


The restaurant specializes in Italian dishes of meat, fish, chicken, pasta and pizza.


Requirements:


  • Relevant experience from an a la carte kitchen and buffet kitchen
  • You have a passion for food and are concerned with quality
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of industry standards and food safety guidelines

What we expect from you: You are a flexible and solution-oriented person who actively contributes to creating a good working environment.


Working period: 15.04.2024 - 30.08.2024


Accommodation: 4500 NOK/month


Food: Free on working days (lunch)


Salary: 230.00 - 240.00 NOK/h


Average working hours is 154.00 / month


Salary additions


Sunday addition 25.75 NOK/Hour


Overtime addition 50.00 %


Saturday addition 25.75 NOK/Hour


Vacation addition 12.00 %


Night time addition 47.41 NOK/Hour


Evening time addition 13.55 NOK/Hour


National holiday addition 50.00 %
