Level Design Lead

We are looking for a Level Design Lead. This role is about shaping the player's experience by designing, implementing, and iterating on game levels inside the Unity Editor. They will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure gameplay, narrative, balancing and visual elements come together seamlessly to create the player experiences. They will work inside the Editor to create levels, construct PreFabs and tune gameplay elements.
Assign tasks to teams, keep track of their progress and prioritizing deadlines.
Give feedback during weekly meetings, and assist the team with any problems that occur during the process.
Motivate, mentor and inspire design team, guiding them through various stages of production with clear direction.
Collaborate with design, art, and engineering teams to understand project goals, gameplay mechanics, and visual aesthetics.
Design and create game levels, including layout, environmental storytelling and pacing.
You must have understanding of how Unity 3D Editor works.
This is an unpaid internship of 6+ months with the possibility to have it extended further, and since we are in discussions with major names in the industry we are planning to start our recruiting process this year. You need to be able to commit to working with us for at least 50% (20 hours per week).
