Job description

The position will be part of the Human Machine Interface Division (HMID) Silicon development department. The Product/Test team are product owners from initial silicon leaves the factory until end-of-life. The job provides opportunities within a broad range of topics, from initial prototype validation/debugging, HW and SW development, to implementation of efficient manufacturing solutions.

Responsibilities will include:

• Development
• and design of embedded SW and HW.
• Silicon validation and characterization.
• Close cooperation with other functions: Architecture, Design, Application and Manufacturing.

Education

BSc, MSc or PhD within Electrical Engineering or related fields with acceptable results OR proven record within these fields.

Experience

No experience required.

Preferred Skills

· Experience with embedded programming

· Experience with Python, C, C++

Basic knowledge of digital and analog design

For personal development and other technical skills required for the position Microchip will provide training and a personal development plan.

Good knowledge in english language both written and verbal

Special requirements

Ability and motivation to work in a team-oriented and international work environment. Fluent oral and written English is a requirement.
