The opportunity
We're currently looking for a Polestar Specialist to join our Polestar Space team for the summer. Someone with a passion for electric mobility, an interest in technology, and a desire to contribute to the change we know is needed.
Condition for the position
Available to work 50% i June, 100% in July and 50% in August.
We will look into the possibility for this to become a permanent part-time position after the summer.
The responsibilities
In this role, you'll be expected to create an environment where visitors are not only inspired, but also inclined to take the next step in their journey by placing an order. Your ability to seamlessly transition from an educational approach to subtly promoting the benefits of ownership will be instrumental in converting these interactions into valuable customer orders.

- Be part of the Space team to consistently provide an exceptional, immersive, and captivating experience for our current and future customers. The Space team serves as our front line and brand advocates, creating unforgettable experiences for visitors that align with our mission.
- Identify opportunities, uncover customer needs, and serve as an effective brand advisor to increase Polestar's overall order intake. This includes activities in the Space, during test drives, or at customer events.
- Arrange test drives, on and off-site, and provide follow-up support throughout the purchasing process.
- The handover is a fundamental stage during the purchase phase of the customer journey; an exciting moment for the customer and an important opportunity to deliver a premium, world-class experience, also welcoming new customers to the Polestar family. The handover moment is the time when the customer gets a first look at their own car, a first seat in it, and a first drive.
The ideal candidate
In order to succeed in this role, and at Polestar in general, there are a few characteristics you'll need to have. Tenacity. Flexibility. Curiosity. The ability to take the initiative, to meet deadlines and requirements, and to abandon ideas when they're not feasible.
Your experience should highlight your ability to drive sales growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You are familiar with sales techniques and strategies, such as upselling, cross-selling, and objection handling. Your outstanding communication skills enable you to engage customers effectively and articulate the unique value proposition of our products. You are skilled at identifying customer needs and aligning them with the features and benefits of our offerings. Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools is advantageous. Above all, your passion for sales, combined with your determination to succeed, sets you apart as a top-performing sales professional.
In addition, you'll need the following qualifications:
• A minimum of 6 months' experience in a dynamic, client-oriented retail environment.
• Experience working in retail settings with a focus on branded experiences, public speaking, teaching, sales, event planning, or customer care will be highly regarded.
• Fluent in Norwegian, strong English skills.
A valid driving license, a clean driving record, and the flexibility to work evenings and weekends are necessary for this position.
