Hotel Charmante is located in the heart of Bergen city center, at Skostredet. We opened our doors in the fall of 2023 and have already established ourselves as a unique destination for accommodation, travel, and culinary experiences.

With a distinctive concept that sets us apart from other hotels, now you have the opportunity to become part of our team at Hotel Charmante, our restaurant Cherie, and Bar Belle. We are looking for individuals who aspire to create memorable experiences for our guests and colleagues. We are currently seeking dedicated employees to join our growing team. The available positions are:

Night Receptionist: This position involves a rotating schedule where you work in a team; 7 days on followed by 7 days off. Some of the responsibilities include: checking guests in and out using our Mews system, coordinating with all departments to fulfill our guests' wishes and needs, conducting security rounds, handling phones, bookings, and guest inquiries, as well as assisting with restaurant tasks such as breakfast preparation and basic serving, as the reception is located within Brasserie Cherie.

Education in reception work and/or experience as a receptionist or similar role in the service industry is desirable. Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken Norwegian and English is required.

Assistant Restaurant Manager: We are seeking an experienced assistant restaurant manager to join our team. In this role you will work closely with the restaurant manager to oversee the daily operations of our dining establishment, ensuring impeccable service and guest satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the recruitment, training, and supervision of restaurant staff, handling guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback. Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is required. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Chef: If you have experience in the food industry and a desire to develop your skills and knowledge, join our team with the goal of creating a unique and unforgettable dining experience in Bergen through passion for food. Relevant background as a chef is required; a culinary certificate is an advantage, but previous work experience can compensate for the lack of a professional certificate.

Waiter/Waitress: For our restaurant Brasserie Cherie, we are searching for talented individuals to join our team. You will be responsible for our guests' experience, ensuring the best quality of service. Creating an atmosphere and experience that our guests will appreciate and want to return for.

Breakfast waiter/ waitresses (part- time): For our a la carte breakfast service at Cherie, we a searching for positive and joyful breakfast waiter/ waitress who can brighten our guests mornings.

Housekeeper: You are in this position committed to delivering high-quality work, you will ensure that both guests and staff experience the hotel as excellent. Your job will involve cleaning and preparing hotel rooms and common areas as well as other related tasks.

Bartender: As a bartender for our extraordinary speakeasy bar, you will be responsible for creating a spectacle of spectacular cocktails for the restaurant and bar. In this role, you are eager to develop a concept with the goal of creating a unique food and beverage experience.
