Summer Fun at A/S Norske Shell

We at Norske Shell are providing the energy that Europe needs today, while working towards a net-zero emissions future where carbon capture and storage, offshore wind and hydrogen play key roles in the energy system. 

We are excited to offer several summer internships in 2024. Working with experienced colleagues, you’ll have the unique opportunity to get hands-on experience and gain new skills by working on real life challenges while experiencing the energy industry from the inside. 

As a summer intern at Shell, you will progress as we tackle the energy challenge together.  

Internships 2024 

• Duration: 9 weeks from 17 June to 16 August 2024 
• Work location: Stavanger, Nyhamna or Kristiansund 
• Application deadline: 31 October 2023 
• All applicants will receive feedback within 15 December

What we are looking for 

• Candidates working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree at Universities in Norway. 
• Students from a broad range of subjects will be considered, including (petroleum) engineering, science, geoscience, digital/IT, business, finance, economics, industrial economics, and environmental sciences.  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and fluent in English. 
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.  
• Learner mindset, self-starter, and positive attitude.  
• Digital skills are a plus.

We conduct background checks according to our routines on all final candidates. We will ask candidates to disclose information about potential ties to high-risk and sanctioned countries. 

We aim to conduct interviews during November and December, either face to face or on Teams depending on your location. All applicants will receive feedback within 15 December.
