About Strategic Research  

Strategic Research is a cross-disciplinary team with a combination of scientists, engineers, developers, and designers. We work closely with research partners and health care providers (both national and international) to develop and test new, lifesaving concepts as part of Laerdal’s One Million Lives strategy.  

The internship 

You will be assigned to a project team and where you will contribute with ideas, concept development, test and documentation. You will interact with our research partners and projects, primarily in Asia and Africa and you will experience how research is used to test feasibility, acceptability and effectiveness of our lifesaving concepts. 

The candidate  

You have ongoing education within science or technology at bachelor or master level within the fields of computer science, software, data science, signal processing/cybernetics, electronics, mechanics or mechatronics. You should also have experience or interest in research, product development, testing or similar, and be available for work for 6-8 weeks during the summer.
