Summer Intern - Manufacturing Engineering / Analytics / Robotics

We are currently looking for skilled students within manufacturing/industrial engineering, automation/robotics, or information/data science (or other applicable fields) to join our team.

• Good communication/documentation skills in English (Norwegian a plus)
• Plus-points for special experiences:

-      CAD System experience (Autodesk Inventor)

-      Knowledge of Manufacturing concepts (Lean, Kaizen)

-      Software experience (MS Office, MS Power BI, Infor M3)

-      Understanding of metal production technologies (such as laser cutting, punching, bending, roll forming, welding)

-      Understanding of automation and programming (Rapid for ABB Robots, Karel for Fanuc Robots)

Examples of task for different areas:

Manufacturing-Engineering / Production-Support

• Lead/Support production related projects and tasks for...

-      Improvement/standardization

-      Production concepts/evaluations

-      Production layout evaluations/changes

-      Mockups/Documentation/Visualization of production equipment and flows

Data Collection, Analysis and Reporting

• Identify potentials for data reporting together with the local team
• Create temporary/permanent reporting concept(s)
• Collect data in the ERP System (Infor M3) or on the shop floor/in production
• Prepare reports, analyze data, provide summaries and recommendations

Robotics & Programming (ABB/FANUC Robots in Production)

• Learn and follow the local robotic production workflows
• Be part of the local robotics work center(s) and team(s)
• Apply your knowhow on the job with real impact
• Document your experiences and provide insights for improvements
