Primary Position Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepares and ensures the accurate and timely recording and reporting of operating results and other General Accounting functions according to Norway GAAP and US GAAP

- Supervises the external accountant
- Prepares all Financial Exhibits for Norway unit
- Coordinates and maintains the internal controls for the unit
- Acts as a member of the Norway unit management team
- In a small unit as Norway Retail, the controller is very deeply involved in daily business
- Need to be able to deal with issues or problems related to customers, personnel, business performance & over all unit profitability regularly

- Must be fluent in Norwegian and English.
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance
- Experience in accounting/finance/audit minimum 4 years
- Good knowledge and understanding of Norway GAAP and taxation
- Good Analytical skills
- Can work independently but has good team work skills

Arbeidsoppgaver

- As Financial Controller you will be responsible for accounting operations, monthly and yearly financial reporting & analysis.
- You need to prepare and ensure the accurate and timely recording for the business unit to the finance group in Finland.
- You will be responsible for all general accounting functions according to Norwegian GAAP and US GAAP.
- You will prepare all financial exhibits for the Norwegian unit, and coordinate
and maintain the internal control.
- As part of the management team you will be supporting the organization and
team leaders in their work with budgets, efficiency and profitability.

Kvalifikasjoner

- Minimum bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance, and experience within similar positions.
- You will need good knowledge and understanding of Norwegian GAAP system and taxation. Fluent in English and Norwegian, both oral and in writing is essential.
- If you have work experience from an international company, knowledge about US GAAP and are familiar with SOX (internal controls) it will be beneficial to us.
