The Conduit Oslo entered Norway by the end of 2023, featuring two restaurants, a fine dining area, and two bars as well as several open areas and meeting room. Located in the historical building of Otto Treider business school, we’re excited to breathe new life into this important building in the heart of the city, as it continues to thrive with a new bold purpose – a convening house for social good.

As our HR Manager, you'll be the go-to guru for all things people-related. From recruiting top talent to ensuring everyone's happiness and well-being, you'll be at the heart of it all. This isn't just a job; it's a chance to shape the future of our company and make a real impact.


HR Manager mission:

At The Conduit Oslo, we recognize that our incredible staff are the beating heart of our success. As our HR Manager, you'll hold a central position in ensuring our continued growth and prosperity. Your role will include not only maintaining our competitive edge and compliance standards but also fostering a culture of development, motivation, and inclusivity. Above all, you'll be instrumental in cultivating an environment where every team member feels valued, safe, and empowered to thrive.


What You'll Do:

  • Lead the charge on recruitment efforts, finding the best and brightest talent to join our team.
  • Own the local on/off boarding process - this means creating it first:)
  • Keep our team happy, healthy, and engaged with awesome perks, events, and initiatives.
  • Handle the nitty-gritty of HR operations, from payroll and benefits to compliance and policies.
  • Be a trusted advisor and confidante to employees at all levels, helping them navigate everything from career development to conflict resolution.


What you bring to the table

  • Relevant higher education in HR or related disciplines
  • A passion for people and a knack for bringing out the best in them.
  • A solid understanding of HR fundamentals, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. Primarily from hospitality or a startup/scale up company
  • Good competence in Norwegian labour law and legislation related to HR practice
  • Strong communication skills. Language: Norwegian + English
  • A can-do attitude and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done, no matter what
