Human Resources & Finance Manager

Temporary 100% position from August 1st. One year with the possibility of extension

As the HR & Finance Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in our vibrant community, overseeing both the human capital and financial aspects of our esteemed institution. Here is what you can look forward to:


Impactful Leadership: Lead our HR and finance function with integrity and vision, focusing on achieving organisational goals while fostering a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.

Strategic HR Management: Main responsibility for the entire recruitment process. Develop and implement HR strategies that attract, develop and retain staff members.

Financial Stewardship: Manage the school’s finances with precision and foresight. Your expertise will be instrumental in budgeting, financial planning, and ensuring compliance with regulations, enabling us to allocate resources effectively.

Continuous improvement: Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in HR and finance processes, focusing on best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Community engagement: Build strong relationships with staff and stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and resource for HR and financial matters.

Global perspective: Embrace the diversity of our international community and contribute to our mission of fostering intercultural understanding and global citizenship.


Relevant Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field 
  • Proven experience in HR management, finance, or a related field, ideally within an educational or multicultural environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and HRIS systems.
  • Knowledge of labour laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Norwegian and English language fluency
