We are seeking a Head of ICT to drive business IT enablement and ensure the seamless operation of our information technology infrastructure.

Your responsibilities as a Head of ICT will consist of leading a small team and working hands-on in providing our organization with IT capabilities required to enable our growth, with responsibility for all IT infrastructure. You will navigate the landscape of security assessments, cost tracking, regulatory compliance, license management and governance.

The ICT role is independent, reporting to CFO and is important for creating a strong operating platform and driving digital sales. The ICT Department handles all 7 locations and will consist of 3 persons; Head of ICT, existing employee + new IT Service Manager that the new Head of ICT would recruit. The department is also supported by other internal departments as well as a 3rd party vendor, for infrastructure and systems.

We believe you have the following qualifications to fit this role:

• A bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or a related field

• Management experience in an IT environment

• Experience within IT operations, IT service management/governance and business system architecture

The right candidate has a strong technical acumen, a deep understanding of technology trends, emerging technologies, and the ability to evaluate their potential impact on the organization. This means a solid grasp of technical concepts and the ability to make informed decisions regarding technology investments and strategies. Both a strategical and an architectural mindset are equally appreciated. Furthermore, proficiency in data analysis is an advantage, to make informed decisions about strategy, resource allocation, and performance management.

To succeed in the role, you have the ability to think strategically and align technology strategies with the company's overall goals and objectives. In addition, holding strong leadership skills is imperative, as you will guide the team with clarity, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance in addition to building a feedback culture. Moreover, the role demands a proficient communicator capable of articulating the company's value proposition, while cultivating strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.

Working location is Norway (Sarpsborg/Oslo). We communicate in Norwegian/Scandinavian, and our written business language is English. You may apply for this position in either Norwegian or English.
