Production coordinator - High quality salmon fillet production

Filetfabrikken is a newly established company for the production of high quality fillets for the global salmon market. Our first fillet factory was recently built just outside Oslo and is now fully operational as a processing plant for Norwegian salmon. The production facility is close to Oslo main airport and Europe's main road network.

As part of our operational development, we are now looking for a Production Coordinator for our production department. The position reports to the Production Manager. 

Responsibilites

• Ensure that your shift's production targets are met
• Follow-up and development of the production team
• Ensure that the group's policies and guidelines are followed, as well as all relevant industry regulations
• Further develop processes and routines, as well as tools to ensure efficiency, quality and productivity
• Training and competence development of the team
• Work closely with QA team, terminal and technical departments
• Assist Production Manager as necessary

What is on your CV

• Relevant experience from food industry, preferably salmon production (level 2 or 3)
• Higher relevant education (food production / food safety) is favourable, but management experience from seafood production can compensate for this
• Practical continuous process improvements and QA experience is desirable
• You must be able to pass the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority's background check (in relation to air freight docked out)

Who are we looking for

• You have developed a good production quality mindset and are result oriented at the production line
• You have experience with improvement processes
• Knowledge of laws, rules and regulations relevant to the working environment and food production, and experience with this
• Good conversational skills in English
• You must be able to work in an early/late shift routine every two weeks
