Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

We are currently preparing for the next phase in the development of Kitemill, and we are therefore seeking a dynamic and seasoned professional to join our team in the capacity of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). If you are a visionary leader with a proven track record in the aerospace or adjacent industries and are a strategic thinker who can navigate both the technical and regulatory landscapes of the aerospace industry, we would very much like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic technological direction, vision, and leadership in the planning and implementation of enterprise IT system.
• Spearhead the planning and execution of technological development and innovation while ensuring alignment with the company's business goals.
• Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture.
• Ensure regulatory compliance within the aerospace industry, including managing relationships with regulatory bodies and ensuring adherence to aviation safety standards.
• Stay up to date with the latest technological trends and ensure the company's technological resources meet its short and long-term needs.
• Collaborate with the management team to assess and recommend technologies that support company organizational needs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor degree in engineering, IT, aerodynamics, electronics or related field. Master's, or PhD degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior technological role, where you have overseen the execution of complex, multi-discipline development projects.
• Proven experience in managing regulatory compliance and strong understanding of safety standards.
• It is an advantage if you have experience from a start-up environment
