Operations Manager

We are seeking our new Operations Manager who will be employed at BioBag headquarter to ensure that industry standards of supply chain, quality and production are maintained and improved. The position will involve ensuring logistics and procurement, organizing work, preventive safety, and supervising operations.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Overseeing company operations, project timelines and employee productivity.
Working with the CEO to set and drive the organizational vision, mission and corporate strategy.
Developing actionable business strategies, objectives, and plans that ensure alignment with objectives developed with the CEO.
Managing, organizing, and coordinating employees from different departments and locations to ensure efficiency.
Implementing policies and programs to drive the company’s operating capabilities.
Assessing and implementing improved processes and technologies and collaborate with management.
The role will be responsible for a broad spectre from logistics, procurement, customer service, HSE, quality and ERP/IT.

Competences:
We are looking for a candidate with an entrepreneurial mindset, who is motivated by having a broad and central role in an international oriented company. To handle the role effectively, we believe it's important to possess some of the following competencies:

Higher relevant education at BSc/MSc degree level.
Good leadership and collaboration skills.
Solid business understanding.
Experience with several of the relevant tasks mentioned above.
Experience with the strategic elements in similar roles, and able to transform this to actionable tasks.
Good insight of various computer tools and operating systems.
Good English skills and preferably international experience.

We think it`s important to work structured and efficient and be able to prioritize and get things done. You have excellent interpersonal skills, and a good ability to communicate in a clear and motivating way. You are a team player who find it motivating and necessary to work both efficiently and hands-on in your daily work.
The position can be located in the headquarter in Askim, or in our office in Oslo.
