Macro Offshore is looking for a Breaker SSL/OIM

As the Breaker SSL/OIM, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the safe and efficient operation of our offshore installations while leading a diverse team. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to the below:

• Ensuring that all installation operations are carried out in accordance with legislative requirements, Safety Management Systems, and Macro Offshore procedures.
• Managing environmental risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Providing strong leadership to encourage and engage team members in supporting organizational objectives.
• Coaching, developing, and training all offshore staff, including overseeing the OJT/Fam program.
• Taking decisive action and providing direction in emergency situations to minimize impact on personnel and assets.
• Managing and controlling all installation activities in an efficient, effective, and safe manner.
• Conducting regular drills and training to maintain the vessel's readiness as an emergency support unit.

Additional Responsibilities as Stability Section Leader (SSL):

In addition to the OIM role, you will also be responsible for overseeing daily marine operations and leading the marine crew. Your SSL responsibilities will include, but not limited to the below:

• Supervising anchor handling, stability, loading/unloading, and maintenance tasks onboard the rig.
• Conducting risk assessments and planning, conducting, and reporting drills and training for the crew.
• Managing logistics handling to/from the rig and communicating with relevant parties.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• Extensive experience in rig operations, with a track record in leadership and management - encompassing all onboard departments , including Technical and Catering.
• Experienced in budget management
• Capable of developing and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with proficiency in English.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership and promoting offshore safety culture.
• Ability to foster a positive working environment and support the learning and development of team members.
• Maritime education with a Certificate of Competency as Master Mariner (unlimited), STCW II/2 unlimited, and GMDSS/GOC.
• Advanced Safety Training STCW (IMO 80) and health certificate for offshore/seafarer.
