WITRON is looking for a Nordic HR Manager who thrives on both strategic challenges and operational HR tasks.

In order to strengthen the Nordic organization, there is now a need to hire a Nordic HR Manager. This is a new position that will work closely with the Head of Service Nordics, the local Site Managers and HR responsible, as well as with central HR management in Germany. The position will have a good mix of strategic and operational responsibility linked to HR.


Responsibilities and tasks 

  • Transfer and centralize relevant responsibilities for the HR function in the Nordics from the Head of Service Nordics, the local Site Managers and HR responsible.
  • Improve existing and facilitate new HR processes and routines in each of the countries and between the countries.
  • Monitor, set up, standardize and follow up the HR year.
  • Upgrade, operate and maintain pay roll systems. Calculate wages.
  • Support site managers in leadership, labor law issues, recruitments and onboarding and offboarding. Being a trusted sparring partner.
  • Wage negotiations with the local clubs.
  • Follow up possible labor disputes.
  • Run employee surveys and employee interviews in collaboration with site managers.
  • Overall contact person for the employees for relevant HR questions.

Ideal experience

  • Relevant education within HR.
  • Many years of experience from the HR field. Either as HR Manager or as HR Business Partner.
  • Very good knowledge of Norwegian labor laws and legal domains and knowledge/interest of the same in the other Nordic countries.
  • Enjoy working both operationally and strategically in both small and large organizations.
  • Experience of working with/in the different Nordic countries in terms of cultural and interpersonal differences.
  • English is our working language in all written and much of our oral communication. You must therefore have a good command of the language in addition to Norwegian.
