We're looking for a new Fulfillment Operating Manager for Freeze/Terminal! In this role, you'll manage a shift of operators and team leads for the day shift, ensuring safety, hitting targets, and running efficiently. You'll lead a team, fostering clear communication, alignment, and planning. As a Fulfillment Operating Manager in Freeze/Terminal, it is important to note that the typical working temperature in the freezer is -26 degrees. You must be comfortable working and supporting your shift at these temperatures when the situation demands it.


What you’ll do as Fulfillment Operating Manager for Freeze/Terminal with us

  • Have the operational responsibility and improve safety, quality, well-being, and efficiency during your shifts using KPIs. Take action as needed to meet targets.
  • Lead by example, offering guidance and support to team leaders and employees. Assist with operations, personnel follow-up, and addressing concerns.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCAs) for serious incidents during your shift. Ensure deviations are addressed promptly.
  • Set expectations for team leaders, maintain shift structure, and ensure meetings and reports are conducted effectively and on time.
  • Ensure each team has the necessary skills and is evenly staffed. Support testing and implementation of new initiatives.
  • Oversee our pallet stacking systems, time-critical fault finding and fixes, and secure a good flow of stacked pallets out to gate
  • Oversee manual processes to pick and pack customer freezer orders, receive supplier deliveries and restock shelves.

  • Have experience with leading teams
  • Have strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Are familiar with warehouse systems and technology
  • Are a skilled problem solver in fast-paced environments
  • Are comfortable with numbers and using data for analysis in daily operations.
  • Enjoy driving and motivating your shift to continuously improve and reach new goals


The following will probably be helpful

  • Experience in automation and forklift use is an advantage, but not a requirement
  • Experience with time management, understanding how to prioritize and meet necessary deadlines.  
  • Used to work with KPI's and target goals
