EXPRO NORGE are currently recruiting a Supply Chain Manager in Stavanger.

Overall Purpose of the Job

Aligned to the ESSA Region SCM strategy, Create, Implement and Manage all aspects of Supply Chain Management Principles covering key functions within - (Procurement, Logistics and Materials) for specified Areas.

To strategically direct the sourcing activities of the Expro Procurement Department, manage and develop the supply base, negotiate contracts with suppliers and support Buyers in operational procurement. To develop, manage and drive cost out initiatives across all aspects of the Expro business.

Effective management of Logistics Policies, a key factors of this role are internal/external Compliance controls, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedure, development of logistics processes to further enhance compliance and the development of supplier performance/ commercial relationships

Management of Inventory control via the development and execution oversight of the Policies, Directives, Procedures and Processes associated with Global Materials Control including; inventory management and control, material planning, & SAP material control, providing a mixture of direction and support as required by the applicable operational Countries within the Region

Key Activities and Accountabilities

• Ensure standard and measurable processes for all core aspects of Area Supply Chain Management are achieved
• Responsible for the monthly review and reporting of all aspects of Area Supply Chain, Strategic Initiatives and KPI`s.
• Management & oversight of all direct reports regards Mandatory HSEQ training modules and competency levels
• Ensure all Logistics reports adhere to the Expro Business Principles & Ethics and Code of Business Conduct. Avoiding conflicts of commercial interest, ensuring accuracy of information, maintaining confidentialities and by abstaining from all forms of corruption.
• Provide Logistics operational support as required to support the demands of the specific location
• Supervising and leading higher level negotiation as required, placing of Purchase Orders to ensure operational requirements are met while driving cost out initiatives within the supply base and business.
• Management of the Approved Suppliers List and the Supply Approval/Due Diligence process within the assigned region
• Ensure reporting of cost savings and improvement initiatives are reported to RSCM monthly
• Actively manage the day to day Materials planning, ensuring adequate inventory levels are maintained against forecast
• Perform periodic reviews of Inventory (RAG) regards redeployment and or disposal
• Perform all duties as assigned by management

Job Knowledge and Qualifications

• Extensive experience of Supply Chain Management with a global oilfield service company.
• Previous Management experience of procurement/logistics/materials functions.
• Business graduate (or similar qualification) and/or Lean Six Sigma qualified
• Supply chain experience in manufacturing/machining oilfield components and/or raw material.
• Good oral and written command of Norwegian
• Good oral and written command of English
