Sustainability is a strategic priority for BEWI, and the company has come a long way in its efforts to integrate sustainability into the group strategy.

As an ESG controller in BEWI you will work in the intersection between sustainability, finance, and strategy in a listed international company. You will be a key contributor to ensure that BEWI has accountable and transparent reporting procedures and tools to endure that the Group achieves its strategic objectives related to sustainability.

In the role you will become part of the sustainability team at group level and work closely with the group finance team to ensure the integration of ESG into the corporate reporting system. The position reports to the Chief Sustainability Officer and workplace will be in Trondheim.

Main responsibilities will be:

• Further development of accountable and transparent reporting procedures and tools to ensure that BEWI achieves its strategic objectives og requirements related to ESG.
• Management of BEWI`s ESG reporting platform (Position Green) and establishment of relevant data points and quality assured data sources.
• Build the internal control framework and structure to ensure complete and accurate ESG data.
• Prepare basis for decision for the group management and the individual business areas.
• Prepare basis for quarterly and annual ESG reporting.
• Facilitate and support the audit process for both limited assurance and reasonable assurance.
• Gain professional insight into financial and ESG reporting to ensure that BEWI is compliant with applicable laws and regulations.

This is a newly created position, and BEWI are open to that candidates may have different relevant experience or education. We are looking for candidates who wants to work at the intersection between sustainability, finance, and strategy.

You preferably have:

• Relevant college or university education in economics.
• Relevant work experience within finance, auditing or ESG reporting.
• Experience with the development of reporting and controlling routines and processes.
• Knowledge of established sustainability standards.
• Enjoy data processing and reporting.
