Are you an experienced and commercial leader with in-depth knowledge of Norwegian Pension and People Insurance solutions, Global Benefits and Wellbeing topics?
Do you wish to lead the Health & Benefits (H&B) team in Bergen to ensure that client promise standards are met or exceeded?
As Director of H&B Bergen you will report to both the Head of H&B Norway and the Office Manager in Bergen. Through guiding the Account Executives and collaborating across functions, you will ensure that clients are provided with advice and solutions that enable them to make better decisions to protect and grow their business.

What the day will look like
At Aon you will be overseeing the overall account management of Aon’s assigned clients. You will be the client/account management cycle owner, and with that, overall responsible for client profitability and satisfaction. You will ensure that we bring all of Aon and the Aon Toolbox (products & resources across LOBs) to the client, and will support colleagues in developing their skills pertaining to the Account Executive role.
More specifically you will be responsible for:
Leadership:
- Defining skills requirement and resourcing profiles
- Setting performance standards, metrics and KPIs for teams and direct reports
- Supporting the team to implement process improvements and improve data quality to required targeted levels
- Keeping self and team informed of relevant professional, regulatory and legislative changes affecting client & Insurance services
- Proactively develop and maintain effective internal relationships across all segments/LoBs, Aon’s shared service function and management
Colleagues:
- Encouraging goal-oriented collaboration amongst teams through open communication; focus on common purpose and active personal participation
- Being a sparring partner, commercially and professionally
Clients:
- Supervising processes and ensuring framework and agreed ways of working are applied consistently to each client segment
- Responsible for choice of clients for Aon Client Promise. Supporting in developing a Client Promise Plans for these clients
- Responsible for New Sales on existing clients, both cross-selling and up-selling (across LOBs; Risk, Marine, Risk Consulting, H&B, Aon Assessment and Aon Global offerings).
Operations:
- Developing framework, policies and procedures to ensure best practice for Account management “way of working”
- Identifying process improvement opportunities to ensuring service standards are exceeded and continually improved.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree
- In-depth knowledge of Norwegian Pension and People Insurance solutions, Global Benefits and Wellbeing topics.
- Strong internal and external networking ability to develop relationships and opportunities
- A growth mindset, while nurturing a culture of transparency and support when dealing with health topics
- Team-oriented, structured and agile way of working
- An operational leader with experience managing teams and supporting colleagues both commercially and professionally
- Fluency in Norwegian and English
- Satisfies the Fit & Proper requirements as per the "Lov om Forsikringsformidling § 3-1".
