Main purpose of position
Currently we are looking for a Global Director Organisational Development and Learning in Olso, Norway to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. As our Global Director Organisational Development and Learning (OD&L) you will be responsible for developing, managing and continually improving strategies, programs and policies relating to improving organisational effectiveness and leadership. You will create and execute various development programs and initiatives, as well as build leadership capability aligned with company strategy, culture, and values. You will also play a key role in assessing and implementing a learning budget and analytics to promote the further development of both individuals and the company.
Main responsibilities
- Develop and implement organisational development and learning initiatives set out in the People Strategy
- Develop and own leadership strategy and agenda, ensuring leadership training is implemented across the organisation.
- Work with current organisational data and performance metrics and conduct further assessments of the organisation to analyze and identify areas for improvement
- Develop an organisational design strategy and framework aligned to external best practice and internal needs, ensuring implementation and appropriate change management across the organisation.
- Advice, facilitate and coach senior leaders incl executive leadership team on organisational development matters
- Develop and manage L&D plan, initiatives, governance and measurement
- Further develop, manage and coordinate L&D system including Performance development process
- Ensure L&D activities are aligned to function and country needs
- Use relevant L&D data and statistics that can drive the L&D strategy and inform company decision making.
- Develop, implement and facilitate Scatec learning portfolio and toolbox
- Actively seek new technology opportunity to improve OD&L
- Train, coach and support regional and local HR within area of expertise
Qualifications and competencies
- Higher education in HR or business with HR module(s)
- More than 10 years HR experience including a strong Organisational development, organisatonal design and L&D competence and experiences
- Experience of working in an international matrix organization
- Tech savvy and a digital mindset, data-driven decision making
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Strong cross-cultural competence
- Practice a flexible and dynamic way of working using lean and agile concepts; recognizes and communicates the value of diverse perspectives
