Are you an engaging leader with in-depth knowledge of Norwegian Pension and People Insurance solutions, Global Benefits and Wellbeing topics?
Do you wish to lead the Norwegian Health & Benefits team to provide clients with advice and solutions that enables them to make better decisions to protect and grow their business?
As Head of Health & Benefits you will report to Aon Norway’s CEO and the Head of Health Solutions EMEA, and will be part of the Aon Norway Senior Management Group. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a winning strategy to expand our business.

What the day will look like
Lead our business in the country
- Be the fully accountable lead for the entire Health & Benefits business in Norway
- Devise a strategy, aligned to Aon and Health & Benefits strategies, to capture market share, and grow our business
- Partner closely with regional Health practice leaders for expertise in the Norwegian Health & Benefits practice lines
- Build a diverse team that you enable to implement the strategy
- Financially manage the business, including planning and forecasting
Client Management
- Be recognized and valued by the C-suite for bringing broad-based business and Health & Benefits knowledge
- Lead client assignments as a work-stream leader on large/complex projects requiring multiple team members - assess client needs, develop materials to lead client design meetings, facilitate meetings, and design and implement solutions
- Interact with client contacts to proactively address client needs and resolve client issues in a timely manner
- Leverage personal/professional relationships to generate business and revenue
Contribution to Sales
- Participate in creating business development strategies
- Identify current and future needs among our client base to pursue new or expanded work
- Lead the development of proposals and sales efforts
Content Development
- Contribute to the development of innovative client solutions, including new plan design or implementation approaches
- Promote brand awareness and presenting at industry events
People Management and Leadership
- Share subject matter expertise on technical issues, business development techniques, and/or project management skills with colleagues
- Supervise employee performance, including day-to-day feedback, annual performance reviews and pay/promotion recommendations
- Offer input on staffing needs to meet business demands and guide the recruitment and on-boarding or new team members
- Participate in setting strategy, annual budgets and staffing plans as a member of our regional leadership team

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree
- In-depth knowledge of Norwegian Pension and People Insurance solutions, Global Benefits and Wellbeing topics. Broad understanding of HR related themes, trends and challenges.
- Advanced consultative skills, including relationship building, process definition and meeting facilitation. A track record of selling, managing, and delivering large comprehensive consulting projects in a consulting firm
- Strong internal and external networking ability to develop relationships and opportunities
- Financial management of a successful business, including short- and long-term planning, strategy development and execution
- Advanced project management skills in organizing, planning and driving large-scale projects from vision through implementation
- A growth mindset, while nurturing a culture of transparency and support when dealing with health topics
- Team-oriented, structured and agile way of working, with experience in leading intercultural and interdisciplinary projects/ teams
- An inclusive leader with extensive experience managing a diverse team of solution line leaders, consultants and analysts
- Fluency in Norwegian and English
- Satisfies the Fit & Proper requirements as per the "Lov om Forsikringsformidling".
