Director of Business Development

Biogy Solutions AS - Is a newly established Norwegian renewable energy company based in Stord that aim to be a leader in energy transition in Norway. Biogy Solutions AS is going to build and operate several biogas plants to produce bio-LNG and bio-CO2 in Norway and is looking for a director of business development who can help realize our ambitious growth strategy.

About the position:

You will be responsible for driving forward processes related to and the development of our plants, including identification of locations, permitting, financing and pre-project definition, and further development and growth of a profitable biogas related portfolio in collaboration with management and the board of directors.

Your background and qualifications:

• You have higher education in technical/economic/legal subjects and/or relevant experiences.
• You have expertise in setting up and building new industrial businesses.
• You are business-driven and have the ability to turn ideas into business.
• You have knowledge and interest into the green transition, renewable energies markets and especially biogas.
• You have experience with project financing
• You have experience in cooperation with the municipality, the public sector and policy apparatus.
• You communicate well both orally and in writing in both Norwegian and English languages.
• You have demonstrated a successful track record in similar positions.
