Are you our next QSHE Manager?
We are currently looking for a QHSE professional to fill the role as the company’s QHSE Manager. We are interested in finding someone who can contribute to the continued development of our management system, assist, support, and advise the organization in matters related to QHSE and lead the QHSE efforts related to e.g., certifications, audits, risk management, etc.
As Argeo’s QHSE Manager, you will be in charge of the resources and processes required to ensure that our activity is conducted in the best interests of our clients, Argeo, and the personnel involved.
You will actively support and promote the business objectives, our core values, and QHSE policies.
Areas of responsibility:
- Promote effective quality control of Argeo’s QHSE Management system, hereunder:
- Liaison with Argeo’s staff to ensure the distribution of relevant QHSE information.
- Provide input to policymaking consistent with policy objectives.
- Assist the management group and all departments in QHSE-related matters, hereunder:
- Support the management group to develop, manage, and monitor QHSE performance.
- Support pre-contract and tender documents related to QHSE in cooperation with the sales and tendering departments.
- Support the organization to ensure that it has a robust crisis management and emergency response setup.
- Monitor compliance and lead audits and qualification processes.
- Lead certification processes according to Argeo’s goals: ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, etc.
- Co-ordinate and carry out scheduled audits of Argeo’s QHSE systems.
- Responsible for the management system (QM365 – formerly SIMPLI), hereunder:
- Effectively manage sufficient resources to enable the implementation of our policies.
- Daily control and maintenance of the QHSE Management Systems, including:
- Implementation of system changes.
- Application of the internal audit program.
- Investigation and corrective action activities.
- Periodic review of Management System / Management Review.
- System planning, monitoring, and support.
- Provide an overview of QHSE activities within Argeo.
- Support projects and operations.
- Resolve and/or escalate issues effectively.
- Establish and update relevant procedures.
- Manage staff in the QHSE department.
Competency and experience:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 7+ years’ experience within the QHSE field.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international standards and guidelines.
- Relevant industry experience and understanding.
- Ability to lead on QHSE matters at all levels in Argeo.
Personal skills:
- Pragmatic, Integrity and critical thinking, as well as problem-solving skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
Other:
- Domestic and international travel as required.
- Travel to project sites and vessels.
- Medically fit as defined by current medical requirements for offshore travel.
- Vaccinations as required.
- Holder of a valid passport.
