By joining our team in Vestnes Consulting as Business Development Manager you will get the opportunity to help organizations obtain better brand recognition and financial growth, coordinating with various companies, sales and marketing professionals, reviewing current market trends and proposing new business ideas to improve revenue.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with other companies.
Task and Responsibilities:
• Identifying new business opportunities
• Working closely with our team on a business growth strategy and then devising an action plan with goals and objectives
• Track, identify and research potential clients and add qualified prospects to sales pipeline
• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Create strategic alliances among similar but non-competing businesses
• Organize/represent in client outreach initiatives, such as company open houses and speaking events
• Gather useful information from customer and competitor data
• Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal management team
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business
• Track and report on the status of proposal components
• Conduct ongoing market research
• Work with the management team to create rate proposals
• Drive the end-to-end sales process
• Research, strategy and negotiations
• Provide input to preparation sales contracts
Competence Requirements
• You identify with our clients' values, open, collaborative, courageous and caring, which guide our decisions and help us succeed and grow.
• Experience in business development, from identification to realisation of opportunities.
• Advanced Norwegian and English language skills are essential for this position, both oral and written.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities and persuasion mindset.
• A proficient user of digital tools.
