Vice President, Digital Energy

We are now seeking a Vice President to lead and develop our Digital Energy Business in Norway. In this role, you will have profit and loss responsibility of over 500 million NOK, consisting of services, projects, and product businesses. Our Digital Energy Business provides a wide portfolio of software, hardware and service offers to improve building?s energy efficiency, user experience and security. At Schneider, we enable building owners and operators to reduce their CO2 emissions via optimized and fully automated management of energy sources, energy consumption and energy storage.

Our main businesses in Norway are linked to:

• Building Automation
• Fire and Security access control
• Energy Efficiency and Power Metering Systems

To be successful in this role, it is important that you understand the building and construction industry value chain. You have proven experience as to how to influence the right stakeholders at the right time. This includes consulting engineers, developers, contractors, panel builders, HVAC contractors and construction consultants. You will be the face of Digital Energy Norway, communicating business strategy towards our market and customers.

Specific responsibilities related to the position:

• Improve profitability and deliver sustainable growth through solid management.
• Drive offer management, channel sales, end-user sales, projects, services, and support/development.
• Create and lead winning strategies to outpace market growth.
• Critical member of both the Nordic Digital Management Team, contributing, aligning, and deploying Digital Energy Nordic business strategy locally as well as the Norway management team, making sure business plans are aligned and coordinated.
• Develop and cultivate industry?s best sales organisation for Digital Energy.
• Build solid teams with focus on building succession pipeline and employee engagement across the country.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in P&L management, within service, project and technology business
• Solid understanding of international markets within the real-estate and construction industries
• Technical or commercial education (BBA, MSc, MBA or equivalent)
• Experience in working in a matrix in an international environment
• Experience in people management
• Project and change management experience in leading transformation initiatives
