Open position as AI Director in Bluware Consulting

Bluware is looking for an expert within Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to lead and further grow our fantastic Data Science team.

About the Position

Bluware Consulting in Oslo is currently seeking an AI Director to lead and further grow our excellent Data Science team.

The AI Director should:

•  Help Bluware Consulting sharpen its offerings within AI and ML so that we can find and win new projects to grow our portfolio of projects with existing and new clients.
• Work together with Bluware’s sales management to provide them with technical credibility and vision in front of the client (discovery phase) and help put together project descriptions (pre-sales).
• Lead the Data Science team and help team members to:

o Succeed – be a discussion partner with existing team regarding ongoing projects.

o  Thrive – stay on top of AI R&D together with the team to identify further growth & project potential together.

o  Shine – write blog posts or other material which positions the AI team as a world-class group.

o  Grow – drive hiring processes.

Qualifications

The typical formal qualification would be a Master or a PhD degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or Computational Physics.

The candidate should have:

• Significant track record in the field of AI, ML, or Computer Vision
• Strong communication skills
• Strong business skills and drive to grow revenue
• Desire to build a world class team
• Excellent collaboration skills – sales, project & customer success & delivery
• Cross-functional management capabilities
