The position of Packaging and Nycocard Supervisor is within our Cardiometabolic Unit located in Oslo, Norway. This role is responsible for the effective and efficient day to day management of the production operations and staff within the assigned department at the production area to meet the company objectives and key performance indicators. This role is also responsible for the Afinion Assembly Supervisors and Production Coordinators in Assembly.


Responsibilities

  • Carries out duties in compliance with established business policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrates commitment to the development, implementation and effectiveness of applicable Quality Processes as per ISO, FDA, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices.
  • Responsibility to understand and maintain awareness of the quality consequences which may occur from the improper performance of their specific job.
  • Daily operation / follow-up / management / personnel responsibility for Operators and Coordinators
  • Plan short-term and long-term departmental assignments
  • Produce / check lot documentation
  • Ensure that relevant quality requirements in the department are followed and that procedures, company policies and EHS standards are met on a daily basis
  • Quality responsibility for the work performed within the assigned department
  • Ensure cost effectiveness and contribute to improvements
  • Financial responsibility for his/her group, incl. budget and financial follow-up
  • Manage performance of staff towards department and company goals, including feedback on performance, appraisals, recommendations for merit increases or necessary disciplinary actions, communication to employees on performance, training etc.
  • Responsibility for specific tasks will be reflected in the employee’s training plan
  • Other duties as assigned, according to the changing needs of the business
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.


Qualifications / education / experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, or
  • High school diploma (videregående/yrkesfaglig utdanning) including 3-5 years of experience from a manufacturing company with automated systems
  • Lack of formal education can be compensated by min. 10 years of experience in production engineering work
  • Good knowledge of GMP and ISO 13485 requirements
  • Experience from project work
  • Economics understanding
  • Experience from managing operators
  • Good knowledge of the data programs: Word, Excel, SAP, Agile, Notes, WinTid
  • Experience from work with quality assurance, production and/or quality control according to GMP / ISO 13485 requirements
