VP Product Management at Elliptic Labs

Elliptic Labs is seeking a Product Management leader who will lead the company in the development, strategy, and execution across our products to accelerate our company’s growth and play a critical role in our future success.

As Vice President, Product Management you will be responsible for product strategy and implementation and evolving the current tools and time to develop. You will set the outlook for the next iteration of our solution provider approach with a focus on the underlying technology. You will drive the product strategy and product development roadmap for our AI Virtual Smart Sensor PlatformTM working closely with the executive team generating high-value business outcomes and building great new experiences around our products.

You will provide leadership across cross-functional team, including engineering, sales, and Elliptic Labs’ executive leadership.

This role will be located in Oslo, Norway and report to the EVP of Sales and Business Development who is based in California, USA.

Primary Responsibilities

• Set the outlook and strategy and lead a multi-year product roadmap for Elliptic Labs
• Inspire innovation that results in product transformation, drives improvements in product development, and addresses gaps and opportunities across product experiences.
• Partner closely with leaders across Elliptic Labs to create, drive, and deliver innovative, compelling, and user-friendly products for our customers across all platforms.
• Support customers and partners, and engage teams as the product expert for our AI Virtual Smart Sensor Platform
• Act as the advocate and interface between customers, partners, and our engineering team to ensure customer/partner issues are properly addressed.
• Drive critical feedback, insights, and requirements from customers/partners back into the product development team and engineering leaders
• Keep abreast of market developments and inform our company of new competitive threats and opportunities.
• Get to know our customers/partners and ensure we promote their successes
• Develop and grow leadership talent through effective mentoring, coaching, succession planning, and retention strategies for key talent in a fast growth, highly competitive economic environment.

Desired Skills & Experience

• 15+ years of product management experience at a technology/software company focused on consumer products, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Higher education, preferably with a master’s degree in either a technical or business field
• Fluent English — written and spoken. Fluent Norwegian desirable as well
• B2B software or semiconductor industry background
• Experience working directly with senior executives and other leaders.
• Proven ability to communicate highly technical concepts.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, including the ability to juggle many competing priorities simultaneously, each with critical deadlines
• Experience with or passion for cutting-edge technologies (including sensors, smart devices, and consumer electronics)
• Self-starter who actively tackles challenges and thrives working in a growth company with a broad variety of tasks
