In the middle of all the furniture and customers, you find the sales representatives. As experts on the IKEA range and Life at Home they fulfil people's dreams of a beautiful and functional home.

We are now looking for a Deputy Sales Manager. In this role you will lead a team of 8 - 10 Leaders and be part of our Sales Management Team. The sales department consist of 150 co-workers. We are now looking for a Leader with a strategic approach who are able to work in a rapid changing environment, with experience from leading and developing leaders.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As our Deputy Sales Manager you will secure successful implementation of country priorities. You will ensure your store is locally relevant throughout the different sales channels by knowing the IKEA product range, IKEA tools, competitors and local market potential. Together with your team of leaders you will optimize the shopping experience to secure satisfied customers and increased sales and profitability.

Others main tasks will be to:
• Follow up goals, KPIs and costs and take action on deviations, as well as motivate and develop leaders by agreeing clear goals, expectations and conducting follow-ups
• Understand the IKEA social and environmental commitments and know how you can contribute to our sustainability agenda
• Secure competent and high-performing teams and leaders who inspire and empower co-workers to recognize and understand their contribution
• Identify and develop the many talents to secure succession planning
