We are searching for an experienced head chef for Taperia; the first Spanish Tapas and pinchos restaurant in Bergen. As a head chef for Taperia you are a person who enjoys creating memorable dining experience as much as developing, motivating, and coaching the team around you. In this position you are a role model with great leadership qualities who is ambitious about lifting and creating a unique place where locals and travelers can enjoy authentic Spanish food in the heart of Bergen.
Main responsibility, not limited to:
- Daily operation of kitchen department
- Personnel responsibility
- Development of menus
- Meet requirements of staff cost and budget.
- Inventory control.
- Internal, HMS and HACCP routines.
- Recruitment and training of team members.
We are searching for you who has:
- Relevant background as a chef, culinary certificate is an advantage, but previous work experience can be compensated for lack of professional certificate.
- Management experience.
- Passionate about food, drinks and service.
- Good leadership qualities.
- Great communication skills.
- Can work well and focus under pressure.
