We are now recruiting a Team Lead in Oslo

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our growing risk management consultancy team as a Team Lead. The Team Lead reports to the Department manager in Oslo.

What we do:

We support owners, operators, and their supply chains of complex high-risk and capital-intensive assets. We do this through the entire life cycle by ensuring the right solutions are in place to control risk and prepare for emergencies.

Our risk management assessments and studies help our clients to achieve safe operation with major hazard and risk control throughout design, construction, operation, and decommissioning. We do this by identifying health, safety, and environmental conditions, evaluating possible accidental events and major risks, including their causes, consequences, and uncertainties, and providing a basis for safe design, safe operation, emergency preparedness. Our services include QRAs, HAZOPs, SIL studies, human factor assessments, emergency preparedness analysis and general technical safety studies.

As a Team lead you will have these responsibilities:

• Day-to-day management of a competent team of 6-12 consultants in Oslo
• Contributing to recruitment processes for your team
• Contributing to the execution of the company strategy and business plan
• Identifying and capturing opportunities for delivery by the business and your team
• Deliver technical work in formal reports and delivery of consultancy services
• Supporting internal delivery and maintaining excellent customer relations and managing and writing bids and proposals

Your background and mindset:

• Your experience could come from oil & gas, chemical industry, general process facilities, power generation or other high-risk industry. You should have in depth knowledge and experience working in one or more of the following technical competencies; Functional Safety (SIL and reliability), Process Safety, HAZID/HAZOP, Emergency Preparedness, HSEQ/barrier management.
• A minimum of 3-5 years’ work experience from a similar consultancy business is a minimum requirement.
• Experience of leadership will be beneficial to making the best of the opportunities that this role will provide. You can work proactively and strategic with sales activities and to build and expand your current network in the industry, both in Norway and globally.
• Speaking a Scandinavian language is a requirement for this role.
