We are now recruiting a HOT Team Lead in Oslo

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our growing Human, Organisation and Technical Safety (HOT) team capability as a Team Lead. The HOT Team Lead reports to the Department manager in Oslo.

About HOT

Human, organization, and technical safety (HOT) takes a simple, but holistic and systematic approach to address complex conditions in design and operations. Our HOT team combine a multidisciplinary approach with expertise from Psychology, Engineering, Sociology, Physiology, Anthropology, Organizational Management, and Operations. We apply our knowledge across project phases, from the concept phase to operations, and further for decommissioning activities, when relevant. All this to ensure we understand inherent risks, enhance performance, and manage risks through providing for optimized human performance conditions in a socio-technical setting.    

As a Team lead you will have these responsibilities:

• Day-to-day management of a competent team of 5-10 consultants in Oslo
• Contributing to recruitment processes for your team
• Contributing to the execution of the company strategy and business plan
• Identifying and capturing opportunities for delivery by the business and your team
• Deliver technical work in formal reports and delivery of consultancy services
• Supporting internal delivery and maintaining excellent customer relations and managing and writing bids and proposals

Your background and mindset:

• Your experience could come from oil & gas, chemical industry, general process facilities, power generation or other high-risk industry.
• A minimum of 3-5 years’ work experience from a similar consultancy business is a minimum requirement.
• Experience of leadership will be beneficial to making the best of the opportunities that this role will provide. You can work proactively and strategic with sales activities and to build and expand your current network in the industry, both in Norway and globally. Speaking a Scandinavian language is a requirement for this role.
