We are now looking for an experienced Document Control Manager to join our Technical & Innovation team in Trondheim.

As a Document Control Manager, you will be providing support to all our Business Units and be leading the Document Management team, including the team located in Manila office.
You will play a central role in a lean organisation and have the opportunity to take a central part of a project and work within the project management team on site (e.g. yard).

Are you up for the challenge? 

Some of the things you will be accountable for:

  • Facilitate training sessions for Company system and tools
  • Company procedures, specifications and requirements
  • Follow up and support personnel in the DM team
  • Development of DM as profession  - short and long term
  • Resource management
  • Facilitate and provide DM support to projects and operations
  • Daily support to Assets in the operation and other departments
  • Business travels to Manila office, project team locations and to offshore installations when and if required
  • Further develop procedures, routines , methods and systems within document control and management
  • Ensure proper IDC and follow-up on documents in review

What we are looking for:

  • Relevant education and/or work experience
  • Experience as a resource manager / coordinator is preferred
  • Experience in document management from complex and international projects
  • Experience with the development of systems and procedures within document management
  • Good IT knowledge
  • Good language skills in both Norwegian and English
  • Analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Good management and organizational skills
  • Good understanding of document management & project management processes
