Are you our new Financial Director?

As a Financial Director Group in Q-Free, you will be a leading star in the Group’s financial function and in charge of our continuous efforts to improve in the financial area. 

Our vision is “Changing the movements of life” and as our Financial Director, you can help us create and deliver products and solutions to deliver on this vision. By implementing our solutions, customers can improve traffic flows, reduce emissions from road traffic, and raise money needed for transportation infrastructure investments and maintenance.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Ensure compliance with financial reporting related to stock-market and other statutory requirements, hereunder quarterly and annual reports
• Manage all other central group financial processes, including cash management, tax (including transfer pricing)
• Be the leader for the Norwegian Group finance team in Trondheim, currently consisting of 6 qualified colleagues
• Manage the financial governance process in Q-Free, including introducing relevant policies and procedures, follow up relevant issues with the board Audit Committee and be the primary contact person for the external group financial audit
• Ownership of global ERP and reporting tools. Q-Free is currently in the process of implementing Dynamics365 and PowerBI for these purposes
• Support management in controlling and financial issues

To succeed in your role, you need to have excellent skills in communication and collaboration with Q-Free’s managers and employees all over the world. To get your colleagues “on board” is the key factor to your success. 

Your work location will be Trondheim, and a prerequisite for taking on the position is your ability to spend the majority of your working hours in Trondheim. Some travel activity must be expected.

The position reports to Group CFO
 

The key qualifications we are looking for:

• Relevant Master-level education
• Relevant experience from similar position, preferably in a technology-oriented organisation
• Excellent accounting knowledge including consolidation. Experience for reporting under IFRS is an advantage
• Experience from modern accounting and reporting tools
• Solid understanding of the entire value chain of a technology company competing internationally. People and business acumen and knowledge to understand the context of our products and customers
• Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English
• You must thrive in an environment working with colleagues that are highly competent in different areas than yourself
