Pelagia wants to further develop the work with ESG/sustainability across the group. Pelagia's business is dependent on the resources around us, and in the future the spotlight will be on finding good solutions to reduce our footprint, including the consumption of non-renewable resources. Pelagia is responsible for approx. 1,600 own employees as well as a responsibility to ensure that the many employees of our partners have decent wages and working conditions. We want to develop our organization to follow up our social responsibility to a greater extent.
Would you like to help us? You will work practically and theoretically. In addition to structuring and reporting on sustainability targets, mapping and implementation of practical improvement measures at each individual facility will be central. Organizational development and communication will become an important part of the work including challenging the organization. The position is newly established, and you will be an important support player for the company's management.
The main areas of responsibility for the position will be:
- Develop Pelagia's ESG/sustainability work across all subjects and departments in the group.
- Find and implement measures in line with Pelagia's defined sustainability goals.
- Mapping, analysis, structuring and reporting.
- Training and advice on ESG internally.

We are looking for someone who wants to work interdisciplinary to improve Pelagia's sustainability work across our divisions. You preferably have a technical background as a civil engineer with a background in energy/process/machinery/industrial ecology. You have expertise/experience from working with customer requirements and authority requirements within ESG and sustainability. You are familiar with the upcoming reporting requirements for businesses of Pelagia's size. Fluency in Norwegian and English verbally and in writing is required. You have personal integrity and good collaborative skills, are energetic, creative, result- and solution-oriented. Travelling to our factories in the group must be expected.
