Noble Corporation’s activities are organized geographically in two hemispheres which deliver services to our customers. The Regional Head of HR for North Sea & Australia acts as a Senior HR partner to the leadership team and has a functional leadership role towards the international HR community across Noble Corporation.
The job revolves around three main areas:
- Fronting the HR delivery towards North Sea & Australia
- Managing a team of HR professionals
- Building a strong organization and shaping a new HR in a newly merged company
This means that you act as overall accountable for the delivery of all aspects of HR, serve as the talent authority for the leadership team and put ‘organizational health’ on the business agenda. You will be anchored in the HR Partner team and become part of a global HR function.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Fronting the HR delivery in the region you will be responsible for creating a good collaboration internally across HR, orchestrate the delivery of solutions and ensure a well-functioning HR function. Further, you will help build strong collaboration with key stakeholders within HR including Operations, Reward, Development, and Learning.
Based on data and your understanding of how the organization performs, you identify the improvement areas which are most important for the business strategy. You will arrange the required interventions using the policies and tools available to us and by participating in the development of these.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Regional Head of HR with the following characteristics:
- An individual with minimum Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
- A seasoned HR leader or HR business partner with solid HR experience
- An individual who is passionate and experienced in developing people and organizations and has successfully led a team
- An HR professional who is constantly developing their toolbox, learning and sharing best practice
- An individual with a successful track record in creating diverse leadership teams
- A person with experience within stakeholder management including responsibility for dialogue and negotiations with trade unions
- A courageous and curious individual who is willing to engage fully in making their colleagues and leadership team successful
- A person who consistently creates good collaboration with the parties they work with and who likes to balance and integrate HR with evidence-based tools, data and processes
- An individual who is willing to travel internationally
The role reports to the Director – Global Human Resources based in Sugar Land, Houston.
