Would you like to build and boost your career by improving LEGO® sales across our partner retail stores in primarily Stavanger, Bergen, Trondheim?

Bring your excellent Can-do mentality and passion for retail into play and create huge business impact as well as enabling more play experiences for the builders of tomorrow!

This is a 12 months contract and can be based in Stavanger, Bergen, Trondheim or in any other bigger city on the West Coast of Norway.


Core Responsibilities

• Identify new sales opportunities and increase sales in stores through fact based performance dialogues and action plans.

• Implement in-store campaigns and build innovative exposures in store and mirror those online 

• Proactively handle and develop smaller scale accounts by growing sales online and offline.

• Deliver strong selling pitches to the stores to agree on 2nd placements to increase visibility of our products in stores online. 

• Ensure that stores follow visual merchandising guidelines and represent the LEGO® brand for shoppers and consumers. Address any opportunities and coach store teams on every visit. 

• Establish and train store teams with aim to elevate the brand position, standards and execution online and in stores (product knowledge, sales techniques, merchandise standards).

• Attend customer fairs, build relationship and drive growth of your store portfolio.

• Promote total customer service and LEGO® culture, as the most important consideration in every transaction!

As part of the Nordic Business Unit setup, the Field Sales team exists alongside the Sales/KAM, Operations and Marketing teams.

The main responsibility of the Field Sales team is to drive executional excellence through best in class implementation of campaigns & In Store solutions whilst also improving sales through thought leadership and store level advisory.


Do you have what it takes?

• 3+ years of retail management experience in roles like store manager, district manager, sales rep, field account manager or alike

• Strong commercial orientation and understanding of the Norwegian retail landscape and main players in the market (ideally grocery and toy specialists)

• Strong result orientations with the end game (store level execution and sales) in mind. Analytical and commercial approach to drive critical retail metrics and improve in-store performance

• Good understanding and knowledge of driving sales digitally, using SoMe and digital tools for driving traffic, conversion and building brand awareness

• Proven experience in training and encouraging store staff in regards to selling skills, product knowledge, digital marketing, visual merchandizing

• Experience within digital marketing and ecommerce, and how to drive sales with omni players

• A focused, brave and curious mentality and ability to work with agility in a constantly evolving environment.

• Energy to thrive in a field based role with need to display flexibility around ways of working (4 days a week on field/stores) and frequent travel (30-40 overnights a year). Driver license needed

• Strong communication and negotiation skills and possess a positive and independently can-do attitude

• Ability to be structured, process and planning oriented

• Fluent in Norwegian and English
