Head of Marketing

As our Head of Marketing, you will be heading a growing team of marketing professionals. As our metaphorical torch-carrier, you ideally have solid hands-on experience in both creating and implementing digital marketing strategies. 

As a knowledge seeker, you enjoy staying up to date with what’s happening in the digital marketing world, and are thus able to provide our clients with optimal strategies to reach their market. To top it off, as Head of Marketing, you will spearhead our knowledge exchange efforts on all things marketing, with your team and clients alike.

Using tools to implement and power your marketing strategies is key, and is something you should be familiar with. Ideally, you have some hands-on experience implementing and using tools like:

• Google Analytics
• Google Ads
• Google Search Console 
• Facebook Business Manager
• MoZ
• Hubspot
• Google Tag Manager

While never afraid of getting your own hands dirty, we look for someone who also finds motivation in guiding others to achieve their best work. As Snowball’s Head of Marketing, you can expect your week to be a combination of providing feedback to colleagues, task management for yourself and others, and contributing to the development of the team as a whole.

As a team lead, you will become a part of Snowball Digital’s management team, and will therefore play a vital role in the continued development of the company. As such, you will be expected to take on your team’s voice within the management group.

You’ll already be one step ahead if you carry a true passion for creating results through digital marketing, and have the skills to help clients understand why different marketing efforts work or do not work for them. 

How we work at Snowball Digital:

Snowball Digital has a flexible organization, combining remote and office work in a manner that allows you to do your best work. As a lead on the marketing team, you will have a large role in helping manage this multi-national team. For this reason, English communication skills are important to have.

For you, there is also no expectation to show up at the office daily. However, as a key part of the organization’s management team, you are required to attend meetings either in our HQ in Skien or in our Oslo office on a regular basis. Therefore, you should ideally be (or plan to be) located somewhere in eastern Norway.
