Key Responsibilities
- All responsibilities bellow, to be shared with Project Director, in the way that deputy will assist him in the day by day activities:
- Co-Responsible for the successful delivery of a project within time, cost, safety, quality and environmental constraints requirements.
- Provide hands-on, day-to-day project management of the Project team during the design and build execution phase of project.
- Establishment of site team to ensure appropriate management of design, construction.
- Ensure appropriate reporting both internally to the Management Board.
- Identify issues and prepare proposals for resolution of issues.
- Cooperate with team in obtaining and maintaining permits and other key relationships with third parties: municipalities, Kommunes, environmental and other relevant authorities.
- Proper management of the Contract with Client.
- Liaise with and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure subcontracts comply with company operational and technical requirements.
- Maintain cordial relations and communications with the Client, cooperating with them towards successfully Project delivery but also protecting Acciona´s rights.
Requirements
- University degree in Civil Engineering.
- Working knowledge of contract language and legal requirements of contracts in Norway (specifically NS 8407)
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction project, working with major contractor.
- Norwegian language is essential.
- Fluency in English is essential.

About the project:
The goal of the E6 project is to improve the motorway between Trondheim and Stjørdal, facilitate a speed limit of 110 km / h and increase traffic safety. As a turnkey contractor, we work closely with Nye Veier, local authorities and other contractors in the project so that we can deliver Norway's best motorway. The 23 km long development will expand and facilitate four lanes and double tunnels. The existing tunnels will also be rehabilitated as part of the project.
