NORBIT is structured in three business segments to address its key markets: The Oceans segment delivers tailored technology solutions to global maritime markets. The Connectivity segment providing wireless solutions for identification, monitoring and tracking. The PIR segment offers R&D services, proprietary products and contract manufacturing to key customers. NORBIT Operations is a supplier of products and services to the three business segments, and consists of the production companies NORBIT EMS AS and NORBIT Kabelpartner AS, as well as the R&D products and services provider NORBIT ODM AS.
The Finance Manager plays a key role in the NORBIT Operations management team, as well as the finance department of NORBIT ASA. In the position you will have the overall day-to-day responsibility for the finance function of the NORBIT Operations companies and the PIR segment. By acting as an important and integrated part of the management team, you provide strategic and financial advice that gives valuable input to high-quality decision making.

Main tasks and duties
- Overall responsibility for the finance function of NORBIT Operations and the PIR segment.
- Support the management teams in driving operational excellence through providing financial and strategic business support, including controlling related work, follow-up of KPIs and identify improvement areas.
- Quality assurance and review of monthly accounts, including judgmental items, in close collaboration with the accounting department.
- Monthly internal reporting to the management teams, corporate management group and board of directors.
- Assist with periodical reporting to the Oslo Stock Exchange.
- Responsible for the budgeting and forecasting processes, including deviation analysis.
- Strengthen ongoing work related to internal control and compliance, including improving internal processes and routines.
- Contribute with analysis of financial data to internal stakeholders and ad-hoc work (AR/AP analysis).
- Support the group’s growth strategy.
Qualifications
- Education: Relevant MSc, MBA or similar. A combination of BSc and relevant work experience is also possible.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Operational experience from production companies is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of accounting, financial reports, budgeting.
- Analytical skills and IT/system competence.
- Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English are a prerequisite.
The role reports to COO and Business Unit Director PIR Stein Martin Beyer and Finance Director Sture Ingdal.
Workplace is Trondheim, Røros and Selbu.
