We are seeking a CFO to lead the finance function and be part of the management team in Clara Venture Labs.

Clara is Aker ASAs main vehicle for creating breakthrough industrial technology from ideas to ventures.

Main tasks for our new CFO:

- Make sure our venture portfolio is optimally structured financially and commercially
- Work together with the CEO in Clara Venture Lab and the investment team in Aker to invest in innovation and external technology which will form the basis for new industrial ventures
- Manage the company’s finance function together with a strong and competent finance team
- Manage and further develop a strong and lean finance organization to support business growth
- Ensuring that the financial aspects of plans, operations, and risks are appropriately measured and mitigated

You have master’s degree in Finance or equivalent, a hands-on attitude, and you understand what it takes to be part of an innovation company. Furthermore, we would like you to be service minded, knowledgeable, and the natural go-to person for finance related matters. You must have strong writing and verbal skills in English, and at least one of the Nordic languages. Preferably you have a background from a well-known audit or consultancy company, a venture capital firm, an investment company, or a listed company. You have excellent relationship skills, with the ability to build trust quickly, and work well with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Hopefully you also share Clara’s vision and enthusiasm for developing the innovations of the future for a more sustainable planet.
