Framo contributes to progress towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals for 2030. We continuously improve our own sustainability performance and enable change by supporting customers to reach their environmental targets. We need to lead by example. Over the last years we have developed the sustainability strategy for our company. We are now ready to take the next steps in integrating the sustainability agenda into our business and operations.

To do so, we are now looking for a dedicated resource in Framo to be responsible for developing and supporting our sustainability strategy, that can take the responsibility to drive the development, reporting, and integration of the sustainability across our units.

Are you passionate about climate and sustainability, and want to contribute to a better society locally and globally? Do you like to collect and analyze data, and thinking strategically? We are looking for you with commitment and desire to make a positive impact.

Key Accountabilities:

·        Leading, communicating and follow-up of internal contributors within all areas of sustainability, as well as across teams and units

·        Developing, improving, and coming up with new ideas for our internal sustainability measures, as well as following up and tracking these

·        Managing KPI performance and track reduction targets

·        Mapping, analyze and visualize sustainability data. Responsible for internal and external reporting, including Annual Sustainability Report

·        Follow up projects and implementation of policies related to sustainability

·        Lead environmental impact and sustainability assessments of raw materials, products.

·        Stay up to date and share learning and competence on key sustainability, trends, and legislations

·        Contribute to create a sustainable culture across our company

·        On the longer term, support technical teams in developing products and services targeted towards and based on our understanding of the environmental footprint

Who are you?

As a person you are passionate about sustainability and want to contribute that Framo reaches our goals within these areas. You are proactive, solution-oriented, well-structured with a target-oriented way of working. As a person you can see the big picture and having the ability to build strong relationships.

We are looking for you with a bachelor’s or master’s degree within sustainability or other relevant educational background and experience. You understand how companies in our industry need to transform in terms of sustainability. You have good written and oral English skills.

Your office will be in our facilities either at Framo Flatøy or Framo Fusa – it’s up to you! Since you will be working across our 4 sites in the Bergen area; Flatøy, Fusa, Askøy and Holsnøy you will be visiting all of them on a frequently basis.
