Group Product Manager – Hassle-free EV charging

Mer is active in all charging segments from public, work-place, depot, on-street, to home charging. We have a leading position in Norway and Sweden, and a growing position in Germany and the UK. The group is a result of targeted acquisitions and consolidation of successful charging start-ups in four countries and has an expansive European strategy. Mer is fully owned by Norwegian Statkraft, the largest renewable provider in Europe.  

We are looking for a Group Product Manager to own & develop our product management process. The role will report to our Director for Strategy and Business Development.  

Your role: Mer has a variety of products and service delivery today – yet to scale up, our product development and management must be streamlined. Your role will have the responsibility of elevating our product and customer orientation to the next level. You will establish, develop, improve and lead an industry-leading product management process during which the group management and business units’ management takes fact-based, informed decisions that lead to competitive, profitable, high-quality, hassle-free products and customer journeys.

We think you have a profile like this:  

• 5+ years’ experience from product management in EV charging or adjacent industries 
• Experience of how product management weaves together key business processes (BD, marketing, sales, installation, operations, customer service, billing, etc.) 
• Analytical and commercially oriented, using both quantitively, qualitative, agile, design thinking methods to identify and improve customer value and product margins 
• Strong relationship builder with excellent communication skills that convince others to take a stand 
• Excellent proficiency in English, and one of our languages: Norwegian, Swedish, German 
• Bachelor or higher degree in business management, economics or similar

Your work location can be any of our locations: Oslo, Kristiansand, Helsingborg, Stockholm, Munich, Düsseldorf, Teisnach, London. Some international travel will be required.
